CTS Supports Ride for a Cause Sponsored by The Rotary Club of Sacramento

Cycling Fundraising Event Benefits the Sacramento Children’s Home Crisis Nursery

On the morning of October 6th members of CTS participated in the Sacramento Century Challenge – Ride for a Cause. The Sacramento Rotary Club hosted the 5th annual event to benefit The Crisis Nursery Program operated by the Sacramento Children’s Home.

Brady and Bobby behind the bikeThe fundraising event featured a multitude of ride distances from the fun-ride spanning 16 miles to the mile century spanning 100 miles. The three members of CTS that participated in the ride were Bobby Reed Steve Reed Jr. and Brady LaBine.

CTS partnered with The Sacramento Rotary Club for the fundraising event providing a 3-phase user experience campaigns via Facebook. The goal of the social media campaigns focused on increasing awareness of the event and to increase participation from the community.

Bobby Reed CEO of Capitol Tech Solutions commented "Here at CTS we are always looking for ways we can make a positive impact in the community. The Sacramento Century Challenge-Ride for a cause was a great opportunity for us to raise money for those in need while supporting one of our many great clients."

Over the past four years the fundraising event has raised nearly $230000 to benefit Sacramento-based charities including the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Sacramento Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento St. Baldrick’s Foundation and the Volunteers of America Northern California and Nevada.

The Run to Feed the Hungry sponsored by the Sacramento Food Bank & Family will be the next charity event that CTS will participate in. The run will take place on Thursday November 22 if you don’t already have a team your welcome to joins ours.
